If you are an herb lover why not take your love a step further into the realm of Herb Spirit medicine? The
Amethyst Center is home to 65 medicinal herbs and medicine trees in a
relatively small area Here you’ll be able to meet and learn many
medicinals up close and personal in a variety of sacred power spots where
Nature and Azurae has planted them. You’ll use shamanic chakra breath work to
grock (shapeshift into) their energy patterns and communicate with them. This way you can gain information about how they will work with you and receive healing directly fron their energy patterns? From your herb totems you will learn how
to work with it, how it can help you most and receive a healing dispensation
from it! How cool is that?
Using dowsing and muscle testing we’ll find your plant/herb totems for the seven
directions of the medicine wheel. (East - Spiritual, South - Emotional, West
– Physical, North - Mental, Above Beings, Mother Earth and Divine Center). Then we visit that living plant for a direct shamanic experience exchaning energies, listening for messages and gathering healing from the herbs and plants. Azurae, who is a n awardwinning shamanic journey leader will take you take you on a deeply healing shamanic journey and initiatory experience to your main plant totem which you one you will be
focusing on for the next year. And finally you will make medicine bundles of your plant totems for you mesa which is used in healing ceremony.. 11 am – 6:00 pm

Special Guest Herbalist & Planetary Muscian Dave Mascatello
Dave
Mascatello, also known as "Organic Man," is musician, poet, booking
agent, music promoter, & a teacher of natural medicines that help to
heal the mind, body, & spirit. Dave has explored the infinite
possibilities of the universe and realized that nature is the best way
to connect with ones' self and surroundings. After experiencing
unsuccessful treatments and misdiagnoses from doctors, Dave was able to
heal himself from depression through the usage of medicinal plants. One
in particular, ginseng, was very influential in his early process. While
working produce in a grocery store, he met someone who introduced him
to the ginseng root, which brought powerful healing to him and opened
his eyes to the possibilities that natural medicine could offer. Through working with produce, Dave was able to see the vast diversity in the plant kingdom as he stocked fruits
and vegetables and learned what the term "organic" meant. From there,
he explored many different superfoods and superherbs including cacao,
maca, spiralina, reishi mushroom & other medicinal mushrooms, holy
basil, turmeric, & ginger only to name a few. After working in the
grocery store, Dave started his business, Planetary Music, which is a
booking agency and music promotional company. Using this as a vehicle,
he's been able to travel and learn about organic gardening and plant
medicines that have been helping humankind restore itself to the natural
way of things. Dave gives talks on superfoods, superherbs, and foraging
and also channels healing energy through his music, as a creative way
to connect to spirit and the people in the world around him. Dave will be sharing some of his organic Nature Spirit Music with us throughout the day and at a Mystic Gardeners Gathering after the workshop at 7 pm. !
